NEW BUSINESS

2015/2016 Annual Report

Chairman Bulick discussed with the Board changing when we do the Annual Report.  He would like to start it now with a deadline in September so that we can look at it at the October meeting.  The report will not be able to be published until the end of January when the financial reports are available.  All departments that receive funds from the Town are legally responsible to submit a report to the Town.  He will put together a letter for the Board to review to send out to all the departments.

BOF Best Practices

Chairman Bulick distributed a page from the Connecticut Municipal Leader’s Manual -
Model Practices for Municipal Governments that pertains to the Finance part of the Town.  Discussion followed.  This topic will be brought up again when more members of the Board a present.
